Cookie policy
Every cookie this website uses, who sets it and why.
On this page
In short
- This website sets no cookies of its own.
- Our security provider, Cloudflare, may set one or two essential cookies to tell people from bots.
- There are no advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner to click through.
- Nothing is stored in your browser to remember you between visits.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work safely; others are used to follow people around the web. This site uses the first kind only.
2. The cookies on this site
These keep the site secure and working. They are set by Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site, and they can't be switched off on our side.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Tells people from bots, so automated abuse can be stopped. | About 30 minutes |
cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Set only if you're asked to complete a security check. Remembers that you passed it. | A short time, set by Cloudflare |
The website itself sets no cookies, and stores nothing else in your browser (no local storage, no session storage).
3. The spam check on our forms
Our forms can use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending them. It runs only on pages with a form, only when you reach the form, and is used only to protect it. It does not follow you to other websites.
4. Visitor statistics
We don't collect visitor statistics on this site. If we start, we'll use a service that sets no cookies and update this page.
5. Optional cookies
None. If that ever changes, we'll ask for your permission first, with an equal choice to accept or reject, and you'll be able to change your mind at any time.
6. Controlling cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. Blocking the essential ones may mean you are asked to complete a security check more often, or that parts of the site stop working.
7. Questions
How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy policy. For anything else, email support@cyberneticsdesigns.co.za.
