KhuselaGuard, a CED product
KhuselaGuard is a GPS ear tag for livestock. It is made by Cybernetics Engineering & Designs (CED), an electronics and connected-product engineering company in Gqeberha, South Africa.
“Khusela” means to protect. The tag is built for farmers who can’t be everywhere at once: on open veld, in shared grazing, and far from the homestead.
It shows you where each tagged animal is on a live map, and tells your phone when one leaves its camp.
CED designed every layer of it: the electronics, the firmware, the field network, the cloud and the apps.
This site is about the tag and what it does on the farm. For the engineering behind it, visit CED.
Put KhuselaGuard on your herd.
Tell us about your animals and we’ll contact you on WhatsApp.
